Bread Dumplings

Ingredients

250 g
40 g
30 g
butter
60 g
onion
175 ml
milk
3
eggs
as desired
parsley
salt

Preparation

1. Cut gluten free white bread into small cubes and finely chop onions.

 

2. Melt the butter in a skillet and sauté onions until tender. Add milk and heat mixture.

 

3. Pour the hot milk over the bread cubes and add the eggs, salt and finely chopped parsley to the white bread cubes.

 

4. Mix all the ingredients and let sit for at least 15-30 minutes, stirring every so often so that the white bread cubes absorb the milk. Then fold in the flour.

 

5. With wet hands, form 6 dumplings of equal size and cook them in generously salted boiling water over low heat.

 

6. Cooking time: 15-20 minutes, depending on the size of the dumplings.

 

Uncooked dumplings can be easily frozen. To cook frozen dumplings, place in salted boiling water and simmer over low heat for approximately 20 minutes.
